Watermelon Mimosa

Ingredients:

1 quarter of a large watermelon, about 5 cups cut in small pieces

Juice from 6 oranges, about 2 cups juice

1 bottle of chilled champagne, cava, prosecco or other sparkling wine

Sugar to taste, based on sweetness of the fruit

Mint to garnish

Preparation:

Blend the watermelon chunks with the orange juice and sugar to taste until you have a smooth pure, strain if needed.

Chill the watermelon orange mix in the refrigerator until ready to prepare the drinks.

Pour the watermelon orange mix into champagne flutes, about half full.

Add the champagne or other sparkling wine, pouring it gently to avoid from making a bubbly mess.

Stir lightly and garnish with a fresh sprig of mint.

If you have to Skype someone to get in contact with them, chances are you’re in a different timezone & they wont be as thrilled to hear form you as you are to talk to them …
If you do happen to Skype .. for god’s sake don’t take screenshots of the conversation … Trust. you don’t want to know what was said …
When a friend says one more shot & you’re already on your fourth in 10 minutes, refrain.
If you’re a tall girl not used to walking in heels, don’t follow the motto “if i’m hammered I wont feel it” because you absolutely will feel it walking home in the morning
If you do happen to be doing a walk of shame, or a “faux walk of shame” prepare for it, or those 2 blocks around the corner will feel like 2 miles …
And if you’re going to do it looking like a strung out coke whore, then take the damn side streets .. you’re less likely to stop traffic with your heinousness …
If you did any of 1-9 blame don’t your idiocy on the Alcohol - that is so pedestrian… blame it on the nearest person instead … “so and so made me do it” - yup that’s right. take the high road.
